York University

The School of Toronto Dance Theatre has developed an affiliation with York University’s Faculty of Fine Arts. Upon graduation from the School, students who meet the university’s requirements may be admitted to the York Dance Program.

The university will recognize the training at the School of TDT by awarding up to 58.5 credits for the full 3-year program. Students who enroll at York could obtain 61.5 additional credits leading to an Honours BFA.

These credits could be obtained within two years or could be accumulated over a number of years in a part-time capacity. Students must maintain a B average while at the School of TDT to be admitted into the York program.
