Massimo Agostinelli

Massimo Agostinelli is a Montreal-based choreographer and master teacher of Bouffon theatre. He has been a resident teacher/choreographer at LADMMI l’école de danse contemporaine (Montreal) since its inception over 30 years ago, and choreographer/artistic director for Tanz Danse, Collège Montmorency’s dance troupe since 1994. He also choreographs and teaches Bouffon for l’École de Danse de Québec, The School of Dance (Ottawa), and The School of Toronto Dance Theatre.

Agostinelli has worked as artistic teacher and coach for Le Cirque du Soleil since 2004, and was the original choreographer for their big top show KOOZA (2007). He has directed two full-length corporate shows for Cirque Éloïse.

As well as his dance and Bouffon activities, Agostinelli also makes original jewelry and paints with acrylics on canvas.
