PROGRAM

Saturday Mornings
September 18 – December 11, 2010
January 8 – May 7, 2011

The Young Dancers Program is designed to introduce young students to the basics of the dancers technical vocabulary with which they will be encouraged, both individually and through group interaction, to explore the dance experience in a fun environment.  At the end of the course, there will be a presentation for family and friends.

The Young Dancers' Program is a creative-based, non-competitive program. Children are registered based on their age. Changes in class levels may be made, pending availability and teacher recommendation, in the first few weeks of each semester so that each child is in a class suitable to his/her development.

Testimonials

"We have been consistently involved with the Young Dancers Program since our daughter was three.  She is now nine. We have kept our involvement with this particular program because of the excitement and sense of accomplishment that is reflected on the young children's faces. The staff truly inspire the children with their positive energy, warmth, and gentle teaching."
-- Parent of nine year old

"I currently have two daughters involved in the program.  I have really enjoyed watching my older daughter grow from a shy girl who stood back and watched the rest of the class into an enthusiastic participant.  The confidence she has gained through participating in the classes and the performances has carried over into her school activities as well.  The difference in her is magical.  The classes have also truly captured the imagination of my younger daughter.  She lights up when she demonstrates the sequences from her class at home."
-- Parent of eight year old & five year old
